Former VAN HALEN/EXTREME Singer Working On First Solo Album

According to MelodicRock.com, former VAN HALEN/EXTREME vocalist Gary Cherone is busy recording his first solo album. Taking a break from his last band, TRIBE OF JUDAH, Gary is calling the project CHERONE and is recording an album that "won't conform to the norm." The CD, which will reportedly contain hints of soul/R&B, is being described as "enchanting and the music has a luxuriant vibe.... very mood oriented. The songs are well crafted and very mature. Lush Harmonies, stunning melodies and the trademark Cherone voice..."
